TATTOO AFTER CARE

Remove bandage after at least 12 hours.

Removing the bandage too early may result in an increased likelihood of scabbing. Do not re-bandage your tattoo!

Apply the ointment / lotion provided or suggested by artist.

Do not apply more than the recommended amount of lotion / ointment (this may cause acne-like breakouts) Your tattoo needs oxygen to heal.

Wash your tattoo as soon as you remove the bandage, use a mild antibacterial soap under hot water.

Recommend washing your tattoo with your open palm and always wash your hands before touching your tattoo.

Do not submerge your tattoo in lakes, pools, rivers, oceans
(shower is fine).

Moisturize, after the fifth day, apply an unscented lotion as necessary (2-3 times a day)

Do not pick at any scabs that may form during the healing process. Do not scratch your tattoo. Do not put sunblock or other skincare ointments on your fresh tattoo.
