Second skin

  • Leave the second skin on for 6 days

  • Remove second skin early if seal is broken

  • Remove second skin early if it gets a hole in it

  • Remove second skin early if it is irritating your skin

  • If left on for 6 days it should be healed or super close to healed. wash and lotion if needed

Removal

  • Run under warm water for a bit to loosen the adhesive

  • Remove under warm running water

  • Pick a corner and pull it towards your skin slowly

  • After a small area has released grab closer and repeat

  • GO SLOW! DO NOT JUST RIP OFF!

If your second skin comes off early.

  • Always wash your hands before touching your tattoo.

  • Wash your tattoo 2-3 times a day, more if it gets dirty.

  • Wash your tattoo with hot water (don’t burn yourself) and a antibacterial soap (original scent)

  • Pat dry your tattoo with a clean paper towel.

  • Let tattoo air out for about 10 minutes

  • Wash hands again.

  • Apply a small amount of lotion /ointment

  • I use coconut oil or hustle butter

  • Rub the lotion / ointment in gently.

  • Dab the excess lotion / ointment off with a clean paper towel.

  • It should be a matte finish, not shiny or goopy.

  • 30-40 mins after washing and applying lotion / ointment your body heat can heat up the ointment and make it goopy, dab off excess goop or wash again and re apply a small amount of ointment.

  • Do not submerge your tattoo in bath tubs, hot tubs, saunas, lakes, pools, rivers, oceans, etc.

  • showering is fully recommended.

  • Do not apply more than the recommended amount of lotion / ointment (this may cause acne-like breakouts) Your tattoo needs oxygen to heal.
